About Me

Hello, my name is Lexey Monceaux. I am a passionate educator and communicator with a bachelor's degree in communication and public relations from Mississippi College, where I graduated in 2019; with a minor in German Studies and Teaching English as a Second Language. Since then, I have honed my skills through diverse experiences, including two years in a leadership institute focused on event planning at my home church. I then served as an Event and Resources Coordinator at Lakepoint Church in Texas for three years, before I decided to embrace a new challenge in education by joining Teach for America. Currently, I am a dedicated first-grade teacher pursuing an alternative certification through a Pre-K-6 Elementary Education Master's Program at the University of West Alabama.
